MPI Implementation List

Due to inactivity of the implementation list and the recent move of the LAM/MPI developers to working on Open MPI, we have decided to remove the Implementations list. The code was becoming difficult to maintain and keeping the list up to date was even more difficult.

We recommend the Wikipedia entry on the Message Passing Interface as a reasonable starting point for finding more information about MPI resources.
